EXCLUSIVE: Thai actress ‘Mim’ Rattanawadee Wongthong, known for her breakout role in hit horror franchise Death Whisperer , has joined the cast of upcoming supernatural horror film Cher alongside actors Pae Arak and Weir Sukollawat. Rattanawadee will play the lead role in the film, produced by Bangkok-based Fearfolks and Benetone Films , who are launching pre-sales on the project here in Cannes. Loosely based on the legends of the Nang Mai, Thailand ’s mythical forest nymphs, the film is scripted by Patrick Graham, the writer behind Netflix’s Indian horror series Ghoul and Betaal, based on a concept by Songsak Mongkolthong ( Graveyard Horror ), who is also attached to direct.
