The Philadelphia Phillies, for the second time in a week, had to face off against the National League East-leading Atlanta Braves. And for the second time in as many tries, the Phillies were on the losing end of the series. However, at least they were able to snap their 10-game losing streak, picking up an 8-5 victory in Game 2 in 10 innings. Things certainly haven’t been going well for Philadelphia , but there were at least a few positives to take away from the series against the divisional rivals. At least they scored in each game this time around, a major improvement after they scored three runs total in the first series.
