Dear Care and Feeding, Last month, I found out that I am pregnant. When I told my husband, “Warren,” he made me a promise, and I believed him. But nothing has happened, and I’m ready to take things into my own hands. Five months ago, I allowed Warren to get our two boys, “Jasper,” 7, and “Danny,” 5, a Labrador puppy with the agreement that Warren would house-train him and share the care of the dog 50/50 with me. It has not worked out. “Spud” is a four-legged untrainable tornado who will chew anything he can get his mouth on. He barks constantly and jumps up on guests. The rug in the family room is a total loss, as is the couch, and Warren has delegated all of the responsibilities of caring for Spud to me. I am beyond exhausted.
