While national headlines often dominate our attention, the decisions made right here in the Deschutes County — arguably have the most direct impact on our daily lives. From land use and public safety to mental health services and regional infrastructure, the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners is the engine of our local autonomy. This year, the stakes are particularly high.
