Hi all, In December I graduated from a public university in the US with a Bachelor's in Bio with minors in Public Health and Spanish. At my university, I didn't manage to get into any labs on campus, but I did do 2 independent research projects. I've also worked as a microbiology technician for the past year and a half. One of my research projects was on a similar topic (oral microbiome/dysbiosis) This fall, I am planning on completing a master's in either Biomedical Science, Microbiology, or similar. Next year I was looking to hopefully go abroad to be a visiting research assistant in a lab in the fields of micro, mole cell, genetics, or public health/epidemioloogy. I have tried cold emailing but is there anything else I can do? Are there any institutes that have opportunities? I am looking in the EU, Aus, and Asia.…
