AAP sources said Mann will call on President Murmu, accompanied by a large number of party MLAs from Punjab, and seek that the AAP MPs be brought back into the party fold. “He is likely to tell the President that they were elected by AAP MLAs and each AAP MLA is elected by 2.5 lakh people in each constituency. Hence, people’s choice was AAP in Punjab. Their moving to the BJP is not in line with the people’s mandate.
