Police report: Man fatally shot ex-girlfriend and her new husband at Smith’s

A man accused of carrying out a Las Vegas supermarket shooting that claimed two lives will face a judge Wednesday afternoon. Family court records show that the alleged gunman, Alejandro Estrada, was in an ongoing child support case with one of the victims, the mother of his children. Estrada, 43, faces two counts of murder, eight counts of discharging a gun within a structure or vehicle in a prohibited area and a count each of burglary and aggravated stalking with a deadly weapon. Victor Frias Rosas and Amanda Frias Rosas were killed after police said Estrada opened fire inside a southwest valley Smith’s grocery. Victor and Amanda Frias Rosas were coworkers at Smith’s and, according to county records, married in 2025. At a Tuesday news conference near the grocery store at 9750 South Maryland Parkway, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Robert Price said police believed the gunman and female victim shared children and had custody issues. Witnesses tackled and subdued the gunman until police reached the scene.…
