Ever since the end of full support for Windows 10, I've been running Windows 11 IoT on my gaming PC. All my other computers are Macs, so this is the last vestige of Windows in my life. I use the IoT builds because they install less of the increasing Microsoft bloatware and run more efficiently. Could I have done a normal Windows 11 install and used a debloater? Sure. Could I have stayed on 10 a little longer and used the extended update? Also yes. But I wanted to try this out, and it has worked really well for me overall. Except for one thing: getting some apps (like iCloud) installed from the Windows Store. Something went wrong. How useful. These refuse to install, presenting only a Retry button and error code 0x80246019 and the unhelpful message "We're aware of the issue and working to fix it.…
