Mitski has shed light on her choice not go embark on a “proper tour” in support of her latest album, ‘Nothing’s About to Happen to Me’. Earlier this year, the musician announced a 2026 tour of “global performances” , opting to do a series of multi-night residencies rather than extensive tour, as she’d done previously. In a recent video shared to X, the musician said that at the moment, she felt pulled more towards writing, rather than live performances. “I can’t do it at the same time,” she explained. “Some artists maybe can.
