Citizens of Victor have been ordered to completely cease all water usage as the Teller County town deals with a water outage, according to a news release. In a Facebook post from the city of Victor, officials say that while working to replace a more than 50-year-old water main, a section of water line became dislodged during excavation. Several failures within the town’s water system forced officials to declare an emergency. A response team, formed to coordinate operations and repairs, is operating out of the Victor Fire Station. Emergency repairs were set to take place Sunday evening, and backup water was being brought in from “multiple external sources, the release stated.
