So I just moved into my house a little over a month ago. My dogs have finally started to settle in and I decided it was time to find a route to walk my 1 year old dog. Found a dead end street right down the road from me that offers about a 2 mile walk to my dog and he loved it. Well two houses over from mine, the neighbor has 2 small dogs (one chihuahua mix and another toy poodle mix) and they are constantly getting out of their yard and have chased down neighborhood children and even adults and other peoples pets. I always scan the area to make sure they aren’t out before taking my dogs out in the front yard (they typically go in the backyard and I have an underground fence for them). The only way out of the neighborhood is to go past their house so I can’t just avoid that area. Well I keep pepper spray on me every time I’m out on these walks.…
