Smart home brand Jackery has spent the last several years building its reputation as one of the must-have brands when it comes to smart power backup solutions, as seen with its solar-power robot and gazebo, which made an appearance at CES 2026 earlier this year . More recently though, the spotlight was on Jackery’s new Explorer 5000 Plus, a lightweight and arguably portable backup generator with solar charging technology—the brand showed off 5000 Plus at Coachella, which powered YouTube filmmaker Steezy Kane’s performance set at the festival.
