Margaret Lanora Herringer

Margaret Lanora Herringer, 89 of Bend, OR passed away on April 1, 2026. Lanora was born in Salt Lake City, UT on February 19, 1937, to Ella Mae Eichman. She married Charles Herringer in Eugene, OR in 1957 and followed Charles’s career with the US Marine Corps. Lanora moved to Bend in 1975 upon the death of her spouse. She remained in Bend, finishing raising their three children and working as a manager for several local jewelry retailers. Lanora is survived by her sons Shawn Herringer and Shannon Herringer, and her 4 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Charles, and daughter Shane Miltenberger. A private graveside service will be held May 2, 2026.
