I can barely chew gum and walk at the same time, so the idea of playing a full softball game and then immediately winning a hurdles race feels like a direct attack on my ego. But that’s exactly what Saint Bede Academy senior Lily Bosnich did. On April 30, Bosnich started her day on the softball field, where Shaw Local reported she went 1-for-3, hit a home run, drove in two runs, scored three times, and stole three bases in Saint Bede’s 10-0 win over Marquette. Then, because apparently one sport wasn’t enough for the afternoon, she made it over to her senior night track meet and won the 300-meter hurdles in 46.98 seconds. And she did it all while still wearing her softball uniform. Bosnich said she had brought some track gear, including her spikes, but didn’t bring the bottoms of her track uniform because she thought there was no way she’d get to the meet in time to run.…
