Nimble, the maker of many interesting iPhone accessories , is launching a new product called SharePower, which it bills as the world’s first sharable battery. Nimble says SharePower will be available in Apple retail stores and on Apple’s website. It’s a 10,000mAh USB-C power bank built around a magnetic modular design that pulls apart into two fully independent 5,000mAh chargers. The pitch is simple: snap off a module, hand it to the friend whose iPhone is about to die, and keep topping up your own. One for you, one to share. Each half is a self-contained 20W USB-C battery. The primary hub has an LCD percentage display and a foldaway USB-C connector, while the secondary module carries an integrated lanyard-style USB-C cable and its own LED status indicator. Both pieces include an extra USB-C port, so SharePower can charge as many as four devices at once. That’s enough to keep an iPhone, AirPods, and an iPad going through a long travel day.…
