It’s that time. The WNBA is back.

The Liberty open their 30th season Friday at home against the Connecticut Sun with a renewed hunger to win a title.

They not only brought back their core trio of Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu and Jonquel Jones, who won a championship together two years ago, but they also added Satou Sabally and bolstered their bench.

The Liberty have a new coach, and the Liberty’s roster is viewed as the best 12-player group around the league.
