Aaron Gordon again questionable for Game 6, Peyton Watson still out for Nuggets

MINNEAPOLIS – The delicate dance with Aaron Gordon’s tricky left calf continues. Denver’s starting power forward is once again listed as questionable for Thursday’s win-or-go-home Game 6 at Target Center. After missing Game 3, Gordon last played in Game 4 but had his minutes cut after halftime. “His mobility, the way he guarded (Julius) Randle in the post, we need that,” Nuggets coach David Adelman said after a walkthrough Wednesday. “I thought in the second half, you could see the wear and tear.” Missing Game 5 gave Gordon an extra few days of recovery, but his status remains uncertain. Part of the issue comes down to the nature of the injury and the flow of the game. “You’ve got to get him back on the court quicker. I think when you get to halftime and you sit there for 20 minutes, that doesn’t help anybody,” Adelman said. “There is a point where it’s not good for him. It’s not good for the team.
