Painting of Emerson writing his Concord Hymn with a cup o' Dunk's.
Most Dunkins look pretty much the same on the inside. The one on Thoreau Street in Concord, though, dares to pose the question: What would Concord have been like had the chain been around in the 19th century?
The outlet is enhanced with three paintings by local artist Michael Sprague: Emerson writing his Concord Hymn with one hand while holding a lahge regula (we assume) with the other, Henry David Thoreau reviewing the introduction to Walden; or Life in the Woods over a regula and a pastry and the Alcott family having a Dunks-enhanced picnic on the lawn of Orchard House.
