The median sale price for a house sold in April was $473,875. The all-time record high of $488,995 was set in November. Median home sale prices vary between real estate agencies. Zillow currently has the median home sale price in the valley at $426,583, a 2.7 percent drop year over year according to their figures. The median sale price for a house in the valley has essentially doubled since the start of the pandemic, and mortgage rates have largely remained above 6 percent since the beginning of 2022 after bottoming out dramatically during the COVID-19 pandemic.
