Hey everyone, I could really use some perspective from people who’ve been through this. I’ve been preparing for the GRE seriously using GregMat, the ETS books, and the 5lb book. My target is around 167+ Quant and 158+ Verbal. I’ve identified a lot of my weaknesses and I’m actively working on them—especially in quant (rates, DI, functions) and verbal (RC is my biggest issue). Right now I feel stuck in this weird middle stage where I understand concepts when I study them, but under timed conditions—especially for RC—I don’t feel fully in control. My performance is inconsistent: sometimes I get questions right for the right reasons, but other times I miss things I feel like I “should” have gotten. I’m planning to take the exam around May 9, but I’m not sure if I’m actually test-ready or just hoping I’ll get there in time. That uncertainty is stressing me out a bit, especially since I’ve been studying for a while and want to make this count.…
