Location: Illinois. One of my buddies owns a farm with some alpacas on it. Neighbor is an evil human being and got pissed cause my friend didn't mow in pouring rain so he sprayed some type of chemical on the fence dividing their property and the alpacas ate the contaminated grass. Some are already dead and he had to call out students from the University of Illinois at 1 am it's a whole thing. They even begged the neighbor to at least tell them what it was so they could treat them but ofc he denied everything. We have trail cam footage of him on his 4 wheeler spraying the chemical but cops are saying just to write it off with farm insurance. Is there nothing he can do? Edit: I spoke a little soon on the alpacas dying, they were able to resuscitate most after finding out it was round up, though 2 are still in bad shape. Also police report has been filed it turns out the first sheriff to respond is friends with the neighbors son. Go figure submitted by /u/Fraystry [link] [comments]
