I miss Pre-Endgame, but not because of the critical success of the movies... I miss the general positivity around discussion. When we had movies that were worse or better than others it still attracted fans who wanted to actually discuss things with each other. If it wasn't as well recieved, there was still more discussions on potential going forward. If it was good, we had full threads of positivity and were able to simply share our excitment with others in the fandom, because regardless of good/bad we were generally still happy to see these characters appear. Feels like comicbook fans have started taking it all for granted. I know for some the quality has become an issue, which is a fair point. But far too many of the upvoted comments these days just take the piss out of the movie, and a lot of the time do the same to anyone who feels differently.…
