Bonnie Tyler , the Welsh singer behind 1980s hits like “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and “Holding Out for a Hero,” has been hospitalized in Portugal.  A statement was shared to the 74-year-old singer’s Facebook and website on Wednesday breaking the news to fans and acknowledging the situation.  “We are very sorry to announce that Bonnie has been admitted to hospital in Faro, Portugal, where she has a home, for emergency intestinal surgery,” the statement read. “The surgery went well and she is now recuperating.
