Personally, I am okay with the penalty to Kvapil and Allgaier for merging in front of the faster pack when 15+ MPH slower. It creates an unsafe situation for all drivers. I know it was mentioned that NASCAR would be watching with more focus on this via Cup Drivers meeting and information sheet (heard from DJD) to O’reilly drivers.

Are you okay with NASCAR policing this? Where do you believe it should be okay to merge up?

The frustration will come from lack of consistency if NASCAR lets it go in one spot but penalizes it for someone else.
