One day after Donald Trump said Jimmy Kimmel should be fired for making a joke about the president’s marriage, Kimmel called out similar remarks from Trump. For those unaware of the backstory, Kimmel’s skit last Thursday had him giving  his own “alternative” monologue  to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, with archival clips of reaction shots from the first lady, Trump and others. Kimmel said, “Our First Lady, Melania, is here. Look at Melania, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.” Watch on Deadline After the apparent assassination attempt aimed at Trump on Saturday night, however, the president, the first lady and the White House Press secretary all took retroactive umbrage.
