Meyers was, of course, doing some classic company man work by taking jabs at one of NBC ’s major network rivals. But these days, CBS-based material is also squarely in Meyers’ wheelhouse due to the many Trump-friendly changes made there after David Ellison’s Skydance merged with CBS’ parent-company, Paramount, last year. “After over a decade, we have taken down CBS,” Meyers quipped after noting that NBC was the top broadcast television network for the 2025-2026 season (per The Hollywood Reporter ). “Well, the Ellisons did, but I like to think we helped.
