Hey I had this thing happen to me, and I figured some of you might get a kick out of it. So back in the day, I got a gameboy color and Pokémon Silver. Played the crap out of it, and one of the best parts was the egg that you get in the beginning, and it hatches into a Togepi. I trained that Togepi until it was kind of mediocre and learned metronome, because someone told me it could learn it and it sounded awesome. Anyways I always just kept it in my team, beat the game with it and all that. Fast forward a few years and a few highschool friends and I got together to play some Pokémon. I pull out my trusty Silver, and get into a battle against a Geodude, and obviously use Togepi, my fave, and metronome. It used Transform, and turns into, well, a geodude. Except that it was golden. To me, that was normal, and I just thought transformed Pokémon looked different (was my first game).…
