Iceage have released their new single, “The Weak,” with an accompanying video, from their upcoming album For The Love Of Grace & the Hereafter . The song “throttles at full speed, surging with a jittery jangle and sudden release,” the band said in a press statement. Iceage flex old school rock ‘n’ roll muscle on “The Weak,” hammering out riffs that invoke Chuck Berry’s rockabilly. The song forgoes a traditional chorus and keeps the momentum charging forward to a bridge in which vocalist Elias Rønnenfelt declares “Life is for the weak/ Stripped for what you’re worth/ Now standing cracked and incomplete” until the tune is sardonically broken down by a ramshackle flute solo.
