Hi there,
This may sound a bit of an odd one. But I’m a nurse and have been for nearly 10 years, but in around 2020 (before the pandemic got really bad) I moved jobs but during this time thought about leaving nursing completely and kept thinking about accounting. I’m quite tech savvy and enjoy things like spread sheets and attention to detail. It kept coming up in my head as a potential career change. I then relocated so the idea kind of got lost. Now I’m settled I’ve been thinking about it again. I actually currently WFH and would like to continue to do that. Can anyone give insights of what it’s like to be an accountant? I by no means think this is an easy career but imagine it’s a lot less emotionally taxing which really impacts my life.
