In a post shared on X on Thursday (May 14), Cudi disclosed that he has distanced himself from “a lot of alliances I had in the industry” because those individuals were solely concerned with achieving fame, living the celebrity lifestyle, and utilizing his services to their benefit. “I distanced myself from a lot of alliances I had in the industry cuz these cats only care about fame and celebrity lifestyle and what I can do for them, no real connections,” he wrote. “And all I care about is having my family and real close friends around and buyin some new vintage clothes.” Cudi did not explain the purpose behind this post.
