Being nice often means keeping people comfortable_ even when it costs your honesty. It smooths things over. Avoids tension. Protects the moment. But kindness is different. Kindness is not about saying what people want to hear. It’s about offering what they need to hear_ even when it feels uncomfortable. It doesn’t seek approval. it seeks growth. Nice can come from a fear of rejection. Kindness comes from a place of care. Sometimes, kindness looks like a “no.” Sometimes, it sounds like a truth someone isn’t ready for.
