California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) on Thursday accused podcaster Joe Rogan of being “too chicken” to invite him on his show after Rogan described the governor as a “cardboard cutout of a person.” “Joe ‘little guy’ Rogan is too chicken to have me on his failing podcast because he know I’d crush him, so he takes cheap shots from the peanut gallery as he gets relegated to irrelevancy,” Newsom said in an all-caps post on his press office’s account on social platform X, playing on President Trump’s signature social media style. “All talk, no action. I’m ready when you are, ‘little guy.’ Or keep hiding!!!” Newsom added, signing the post with his initials as Trump often does.
