Succulents have never survived more than a couple of months in my care so I felt like I needed to share this little win.
In December my local supermarket had these “novelty Christmas flower ceramics” reduced to 64p, I bought 3, 2 had red flowers & one white. I didn’t have a clue what plant they actually were until I did an image search and found out they were succulents. I had lost hope of them lasting very long, but then after reading so many tips on this and a couple of other subreddits I have managed to keep these alive & the red ones are starting to bloom again! I bought the pink kalanchoe last month which was already blooming beautifully. I water them usually around every fortnight or when the leaves feel like they’re soft and bendy & have them in a south facing window that gets the sun for the majority of the day, if it’s a hotter day I move them to a shaded spot on the windowsill so they don’t get scorched ☺️
