(Screengrab from Express Video) At least nine people died and few others were injured after a fire broke out at a residential complex in Shahdara’s Vivek Vihar area in the early hours of Sunday. A PCR call was received at around 3:48 am at the Vivek Vihar Police Station, police officials told The Indian Express . Acting swiftly, local police personnel, along with the Station House Officer (SHO) and the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) of Vivek Vihar, rushed to B-13, Vivek Vihar Phase-I, the site of the incident. The police found the fire had engulfed flats on the second, third, and fourth floors of the building. Firefighters and rescue teams launched operations to evacuate residents and contain the blaze.
