Published 11:36 am Tuesday, May 12, 2026 The Oregon High Desert Classics equestrian show and fundraiser will take place in Bend July 8-12 to support J Bar J Youth Services. The hunter-jumper show attracts top riders from across the U.S. and Canada. The event features competitions, food, local vendors and a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and spectators. After feedback from participants, the event will be one week instead of two and was moved slightly earlier in the month. It will be held at J Bar J Boys’ Ranch. Oregon nonprofits continue to feel the impact of reductions and economic uncertainty. “Like many nonprofit organizations we are navigating the ripple effects of funding cuts and increasing community need,” said Keith Riggs, COO of J Bar J Youth Services. “The Oregon High Desert Classics has always been a special event for our community, but this year its support means even more for the youth and families we serve.” Community members are welcome to sponsor or visit to support youth services.…
