If you had something like Major Depressive Disorder that was treated and has had no resurgence within 10 years, or something like OCD, where you did exposure therapy and no longer have had symptoms for a decade, it should be considered cured. These disorders are not considered cured because they could come back, but that ignores the fact that "coming back" can just be getting the disorder again. Yes, people who have had such disorders before are more likely to get them, but they also have a predisposition, so _of course_ they're more likely to get them—regardless of whether they had it before.
