For those in electronic music, this identification can be particularly difficult, given the noisiness of clubs and festivals and the fact that DJs often play just snippets of tracks that have been pitched up or down within their sets. Beatport is now offering a tool to identify music in such settings. Out Tuesday (May 12), the company’s new Track ID tool has been built to identify songs in challenging environments. Available within the Beatport mobile app, the tool makes any track that’s identified instantly accessible on the Beatport platform and also saves the song in a dedicated Track ID history.
