Behind the scenes, millennial psych rock overlord Kevin Parker has been a factor on the pop charts for years via work with artists like Lady Gaga, Travis Scott, and Dua Lipa. Lately, the man otherwise known as Tame Impala has been enjoying unprecedented pop-chart success of his own. Tame Impala broke through into a new level of mainstream visibility last fall with " Dracula ," the "Thriller"-ish single from his dance-oriented Deadbeat album that seems destined to be a staple of Halloween playlists for decades. Upon its debut, "Dracula" became Tame Impala's first song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 . It has since entered into the Top 40 radio slipstream and become a real-deal hit.
