The 2025–26 Champions League final will witness Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain battle for continental glory in what will be the fourth meeting between the formidable sides in the last two years. Arsenal and PSG had met only four times prior to the start of the 2024–25 season, with the pair of draws during the 2016–17 Champions League group stage representing their only other encounters of the 21st century. The first ever meeting between the two sides ended in a draw as well, with Arsenal then defeating PSG 1–0 in the second leg of the semifinals to advance to the 1993–94 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup final. The Gunners would eventually win the now extinct competition in what remains their last ever European title.
