Looking for advice on whether I may qualify for Borrower Defense. I’m enrolled in a Master’s Nurse Practitioner program and have completed 27 credits. I was only four clinical semesters away from graduation when the program lost accreditation. The school’s solution is for students to switch into a general Master’s degree that does not lead to NP certification, which is not the program I enrolled for. I also have documentation from the Department of Education and the accrediting body indicating the school did not promptly notify students about the accreditation issues. Given these circumstances, does this sound like something that could qualify for Borrower Defense, or am I unlikely to be approved? Has anyone been through something similar? Thanks in advance for any insight.…
