'Dimebag' Darrell Abbott created the No. 8 greatest guitar riff of all time, according to Guitar World , after he and brother Vinnie Paul spawned Pantera and eventually laid down Walk. " Walk  was ultimately less thrashy and saw the band embracing more groove-driven doctrines of heaviness – inspiring a whole new wave of sonic aggression," Guitar World wrote.
