Foo Fighters stopped by  The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night to perform two songs from their new album Your Favorite Toy :  “Caught in the Echo” and “Window.” “Caught in the Echo” came first, and it’s safe to say that Dave Grohl and co. were locked in and sharp as ever. The song’s interlocking guitars and pounding drums from Ilan Rubin made it a powder keg, and even in front of a studio audience and camera crew, that energy came through. The song especially popped off at the conclusion, where the bridge culminated in a furious, tom-heavy blitz from Rubin and a full band freakout.
