Jerrica Klout never thought she’d end up living in Lynnwood, and it wasn’t her first choice of places to buy a home. But she’s glad she and her husband decided to look north when they wanted to get out of a cramped one-bedroom apartment in Green Lake. They bought a newly built four-bedroom stand-alone town home for around $800,000 in 2022. It was a find at a time when the market was sizzling hot in Seattle. “We’ve really lucked out in getting this place,” she said, noting she has ample space now to work from home and her husband, a Boeing employee, has an easy commute to Everett. Lynnwood, less than 20 miles to downtown Seattle and still relatively affordable, has long drawn buyers from nearby cities.…
