Pair of 2026 Husky football games moved to Friday nights

The Friday night lights will be on at Husky Stadium this fall. A pair of Washington’s football games that had originally been scheduled for Saturdays are moving to Fridays.

UW’s home game against Iowa will take place on Friday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. and be broadcast on FOX or FS1. The following week, the Huskies will play at Purdue on Friday, Oct. 16 at 5 p.m., also on FOX.

The rest of UW’s schedule remains intact, beginning with their opener against Washington State on Sept. 5. UW’s lone by week comes on Oct. 24.

Here’s an updated look at UW’s schedule:

Sept. 19 vs. Eastern Washington

Sept. 26 vs. Minnesota

Oct. 3 at USC

Oct. 9 vs. Iowa (Friday)
