My motto for spring and summer travel is to pack comfortable, low-maintenance outfits that’ll have me looking effortlessly put together no matter where my family is headed. And, because I’m married to a diplomat, my travel outfits often need to be versatile enough to look refined, depending on the occasion. Implementing a “less is more” packing approach, I take the popular Sudoku packing method one step further. Instead of the 3-3-3 combination of a trio of tops, bottoms, and shoes, I simply pair six different ensembles with just one pair of comfortable flats that work with anything.  My trick is to choose fun, layerable tops with subtle details like ruching or lace that make them stand out. Then, I balance those pieces out with elevated bottoms that can be dressed up or down straight from the plane. Finally, I top it all off with comfortable flats I can spend all day in.…
