Big 4 CPA -> Medicine (MD, DO) - Naive? Anyone on here know someone who has done it? I initially went to school to become a licensed therapist and changed to an accounting major due to job security, financial stability and since it was applicable to so many career fields and firms. I graduated summa cum laude, passed the CPA, spent a year in Tax Consulting at a mid tier firm then Big 4 audit and after 4 years total in corporate, I realize my career is a joke. It has given me a way to pay for my life but after working 60 hours (3 busy season filings last year and 2 this year) for most of the year, I realized nothing I do matters and when I do accomplish something, its a sigh of relief I survived and not happiness or fulfillment.…
