In response, countries around the world are marketing themselves as great places to live and work (in addition to a great place to vacation), highlighting things like affordability, safety, and speedy WiFi. In Europe, one city has made a name for itself, recently being named the best European city for digital nomads in 2026 . In the study, which compared Europe’s 35 most visited cities, Krakow, Poland came out on top. The study was conducted by Playerstime, a mediation organization for online casino players, using data from Euromonitor International ,  Airbnb , Numbeo , and Speedtest.net .  Krakow performed particularly well in food affordability, safety, and internet costs.…
