From landing late in New York on Thursday night to first pitch in The Bronx on Friday, Pete Alonso had already taken several trips down memory lane on his initial return to his former home of over seven years. He stumbled over a few words when expressing what it means to him to be back in the city after leaving the Mets for a five-year, $155 million deal with the Orioles.
