Oregon and Oregon State’s baseball teams will have to settle for two head-to-head games this season. The schools, in conjunction with Minor League Baseball’s Hillsboro Hops, announced the Northwest Elite Baseball Classic’s cancellation Friday. The game was initially scheduled for April 14 at the new Hops Ballpark in Hillsboro. It was postponed following Beavers freshman pitcher Tyler Bellerose’s tragic accident on April 13. Tickets purchased through tickets.com for the game will be automatically refunded within 10 to 14 business days, according to a press release. Fans with secondary-market tickets, such as those purchased through StubHub, Vivid Seats or others, “must contact the customer service staff for that business,” according to the press release.
