Rapper Mystikal has been handed down a 20-year prison sentence for the 2022 rape of a woman at his Prairieville, Louisiana, home in 2022. After pleading guilty to third-degree rape back in March, on Tuesday (June 15), the former No Limit Records artist received the maximum sentence, which was requested by his victim. The woman claimed she was forcibly raped and had braids pulled from her hair at the time of the incident. The woman, whose keys and phone were taken during the rape, was allowed to leave after being forced to send the rapper money via CashApp. Mystikal, legal name Michael Tyler, also spoke to the court, although the 55-year-old also attempted to speak to the victim. “If I did that to you, I deserve the max sentence," the “Here I Go” rapper said, per WBRZ .
